Quality assurance and quality control is a complex area of the apparel industry. Though they are not the same, quality control is an aspect of quality assurance. While quality assurance builds quality into each step of the manufacturing process, quality control is generally understood as assessing for quality after products have already been manufactured. The products are then sorted into acceptable and unacceptable categories. Apparel garments, accessories, and other textile products are assessed for quality in the pre-production phase, during production, and with a final inspection after the product has been completed.
FYI:
Quality control is a service that the customer can select for an additional Fee. However, the customers can choose to do it themselves.
